Nigeria’s biggest music tour; Glo Mega Music Tour and comedy festival Glo Lafftafest were to hold across 27 cities in Nigeria. It was key to reach the 18-35 demographic primarily and guarantee thousands in appearance twice weekly
The Strategy: Our strategy leveraged on the new indispensability of video especially on platforms like Instagram. Live updates, Trends, viral videos and pre-show hypes all helped the tour become one of the biggest music campaigns in Nigeria’s history.
The Result: There were weekly social media trends with over 5 billion impressions, 50 million engagements, and 3 million views on the tour. Furthermore, there were over 20,000 social media mentions and over 500 blog and website mentions.
